Long run

20 miles with Jeff early this morning.

AP 7:38

Nothing too special about this run.  We finished strong and were still feeling like we could go more, so I guess that is a good thing.

Wow, way to go. What time did you start your run? I just got out of bed.

We started at 5:30. Today is my Saturday for the month to work, so we had to start early to get me to work by 9.

20 miles just for fun. You da man Rhett. Have you got any goal races in mind for 2013?

The 20 miler wasn't just for fun. I'm not that crazy. Jeff and I are running the Phoenix marathon on March 2. I think Smooth is running it too.

My wife is running that marathon. BeMo talked her into it and said she could stay with her.

Another awesome 20 miler!!! I'm usually in a near state of comatose after a 20+ miler! NOT YOU!!!! You go to work by 9 when most people were just crawling out of bed! SUCH dedication will pay off come race day! :)

JakeK on the blog is running Phoenix too. Can't wait to see you in two months! :)

20 at a 7:38 pace and felt like you could do more????? Are you for real??? Looks like you may peak perfectly!! Just don't do anything crazy in the next handful of weeks. :) :) :)

Dale, that's cool that your wife and BeMo are rrunning Phoenix. Too bad you aren't coming.

Smooth, I just hope you get your knee feeling better before Phoenix.

Teena, I definitely don't follw any normal training plan,so most of my running probably seems crazy, but I'll try not to do anything crazier than normal.

From DaleG on Mon, Jan 07, 2013 at 22:15:16 from 66.87.126.59

I just didn't feel like training for another marathon so soon, especially since I had already planned out my year. Plus, it would cost too much for all of us to fly down there. No way would I want to drive that far for a marathon. Lol.
