I did my weekly run to test out my knee tonight.  I made it almost 2 miles before the knee pain started to creep up around a 3.  At first I slowed down a bit then I started experimenting with my stride.  I found that if I ran with a very exaggerated long leaping stride for a hundred yards or so, it would loosen up the knee and I could run again for a while.

Ended up doing 5 miles with AP of 7:13.  I was very surprised to have run so fast.  I didn't feel like I was working hard at all.  I guess all the cross training is working.

Hey Rhett, you should take it easy and get that knee back to 100% before you slam it with the hard workouts and speed. Get better man!!!!

I agree Tom. I really wasn't running hard at all. It was just an easy effort. I plan I doing another week of cross training and testing it out again next Monday. Thanks for checking in.

How's your Boston training looking?

some people were born to run and you my friend are one of them (unless you are injured) and I my friend was born to cheer people on at the races.
