I decided I needed one last mp run before Boston, mostly for mental confidence than anything and figured I was still 12 days out so today would be a good day. I also wanted to try and figure out what exactly my mp should be for race day.
After a nice easy half mile warm up I determined to run 10 miles by feel without looking at my pace on my watch and try to keep it at what felt like mp effort. I hit pretty consistent splits around 6:58 and then subconsciously probably because I was anticipating the end finished up the last 3 miles with 6:49, 6:50, 6:40. Then I cooled down with a half mile jog. So after that I'm thinking my mp should be right around 7:00, but I'll probably just wait and see how I feel on race day and try to just run what feels right that day.
I will do one more easy medium long run on Friday, but everything will be nice and short until the big day.
