This is so weird sitting here checking email and everyone's blogs instead of either being out running or at the gym, but I'm taking a rest day and I think I kind of like it.  I still have an hour before I have to be at work and I'm all ready to go, so I'm just goofing off on the computer.  I think I'll pack tonight so I don't have to worry about it after work tomorrow.  We have to take off around 4 pm to catch our 8:15 flight out Vegas tomorrow.  We then fly the wrong direction to L.A. have about an hour layover and then fly from there to Boston.  That'll be a long flight, but with the right drugs I should be able to sleep the whole thing away.  I can't believe that next week at this time I will have already been back at work for a full day.  That's sad.  I hope the weekend goes slow.  I'm looking forward to seeing every on Saturday.  Travel safely and have fun.

Rest Day:  Zero miles, Zero Cross Training , Zero time.

Maybe I'll stretch and roll my legs a bit.  That would probably be a good use of this extra time.

Do some Yoga!!!!

Hey we leave SL tomorrow at 6:15 and fly to Long Beach, After a short layover, we leave there at 8:55. I was hoping by doing this I could sleep on the plane instead of being terrified of death. What kind of drugs are you going to take??????

NICE rest day!!! You are going to ROCK Boston! I am so excited for you! See you in about 48 hours. Wow! I better get going! Have a safe and restful flight!

Kelli, I take these herbal sleeping pills with melatonin and other stuff that seems to knock me out pretty good. I've never tried prescription sleeping pills before.

Looks like you and I will be landing in Boston around the same time. Good luck sleeping through the flight.

Have a great time in Boston Rhett. Us slower folks will be watching and waiting for your report. I predict it is going to be a great one!!! Have fun and enjoy every minute of it!

WHAT are they??? I take Melatonin and it seems to help some. I need more of a kick for a flight, though, and I do not think I can get my Benadryl onto a plan, I can not find a small enough bottle for the 2 oz limit.

Hope you have a fun and safe trip. Very excited for you and what you are capable of accomplishing. Good luck!

Kelli, I don't even remember the name of them. I ordered them on line and they do a great job knocking me out. Go buy some benedryl in pill form and take those with you. Those seem to knock me out pretty good too.

From Kelli on Fri, Apr 16, 2010 at 12:57:34 from 71.219.92.128

I am so dumb, I did not think about pill form!!!! I take Children's Benadryl, but for this trip I can be a grown up!!!

Travel safe! See you in 36 hours or so (unless we run into each other at the airport. What airline are you flying???)

From RivertonPaul on Fri, Apr 16, 2010 at 12:58:36 from 67.42.27.114

Ironically, I can usually down a Diet Mtn. Dew and fall right asleep, but taking pills doesn't seem to help as well as I'd like.

From Rhett on Fri, Apr 16, 2010 at 13:05:58 from 74.32.222.202

Well Paul, that's because Diet Dew is the ellixer of the God's and has super powers that will let you sleep when you want to sleep and give you energy when you need energy. :)
