The plan today was to go very long and very slow. I think I accomplished both goals.

I started at 2:45 am and it was 81 degrees, ran 25 miles in 3:26:57 (AP 8:17), showered up and was at work by 7:45 am.

It was slow, but my legs were very tired from my other two longer runs (13 and 15.3 miles) this week, so I'll take it.  The best news is there weren't any weird pains from injuries. Next week I'll do a recovery week.

AWESOME week of running! VERY IMPRESSIVE run SO EARLY in the wee hours! SUPER JOB on the mileage and such quality runs too! You are doing a FANTASTIC JOB squeezing your training in with your busy busy life of father, bishop and work, not to mention the crazy AZ weather!

So happy to hear that there were no weird pains. You are going to have a GREAT race at UVM! :) Can't wait to see you and Doone! :)

Dale, I don't know how you work so late and still get in all your running, Good job

Teena, No... you are way crazier than I am when it comes to running. I was just desperate to get in a long run and that was the only time I could do it.

Tim, thanks. I needed the 25 miler mentally a lot more than physically.

Smooth, thanks. I am so excited to see all my running friends at UVM. I didn't realize how much I would miss seeing everyone by not going to Boston this year.
