I was excited to run this morning after my good run on Saturday, so I hit the TM again at 1% incline, set it at 8.0 (7:30) and started running. After 7 miles I was feeling good and had to convince myself not to increase the speed. I stopped after 8 feeling pretty good.

Total Run 8 miles, 60:00

The "Magic Tape" (as we refer to it in our home) really seems to be working for me. My foot still feels great. This was also day 5 of wearing the same tape job. I think I finally figured out how to make the stuff stick. I took Smooth's advice of making sure it was dry after showering and Kelli's advice of heating it with a hot pad, mixed it together and decided to blow dry it after getting out of the shower. It really helps the stuff get stuck on there tightly. It takes a good 5 minutes though, so I have to plan on some extra getting ready time.

Nice job, Rhett!!! I'm glad the "magic Tape" is working well for you.

Like I said I might just have to tape my whole body with the "magic tape" this week end. Do you think it will work?

So happy to see you running again!

From Burt on Mon, Sep 28, 2009 at 14:00:17 from 68.76.197.194

Yes Kathie. As long as you are using the Ancient Egyptian Pharoah tape, you should be good.

So glad it went well. Easy on back.

Very nice job Rhett. Your making a awesome come back. And look at those great miles. Glad the magic tape is working so well for you. I will have to use those same techniques on the wife and her tape. Very nice job really man. Look at BOSTON!!! HE IS BACK!!!

Kathie, you don't need any "magic tape", you are a lean, mean, fighting machine and you have prepared properly, so you are ready to go out there and run that perfect race.

From Smooth on Mon, Sep 28, 2009 at 16:06:44 from 97.117.89.13

WooHoo! 8 miles per hour! Day 5 of magic tape! You're on a roll! GREAT JOB! Doing the happy dance for ya! :) :) :)

Awesome! I hope I never need the "magic tape", but if I do, I'm glad it works! I'm happy for you, man.

From Kelli on Tue, Sep 29, 2009 at 18:30:01 from 71.219.96.151

I am so glad to read about your successful run!! And even happier that you have figured out how to make the tape stick. It is GREAT stuff!!!! I hope it keeps you healthy and fast.
