Dang it!  My right calf tightened up on me a few miles into a nice slow run this morning. Looks like I will be forced into some recovery time over the next week. Hopefully I'll then be able to get in a few quality runs before I need to move into tapering. I'm only 3 weeks and 2 days out from race day.

6 miles. 3 of them were walking though.

Oh No! That is some bad timing.

You had a killer run yesterday! I wonder what happened. Get well soon, man!

I hope that this just a small fly in the ointment and not some major injury. Its that time in the training when the brain wants to sabotage your plans! Get better soon!

Thanks guys. Seems like every time I start really peaking I get this same injury. Hopefully I will give it a week and it will get better.

I thought I had gotten past this injury by keeping my slow days really slow but I guess not.
