Blake and I ran 6.5 miles to the top of Crossman Peak for a 2854 ft climb then ran back down totaling 13 miles. We saw a couple deer on the way down. I didn't think we had deer in Havasu.  I've lived here 16 years and that was a first.

HBR, out here in the desert, I didn't think we had deer. Guess I was wrong again.

Yasir, it is a crazy steep climb, some of which is so steep it is hard to even walk.

Teena, yep we figure if we are going to survive rim to rim to rim we better get in some serious uphill and downhill training. SGM is right around the corner. Are you getting excited?

You're not wrong just not use to seeing them in the desert here in Kentucky we have to dodge them, they are everywhere. I've even come when a few feet of them on a mountain bike. I could have literally reached out and patted them on the head.
