After taking a rest day yesterday, i figured I better get a qualitly workout in today, even if I didn't feel like it. After a 5 min warm up I did 11- 2 1/2 min repeats at 5K pace each followed by 2 1/2 min of recovery running on a rolling hills course.

Total run 8.25 miles, 60 mins.

Thanks, my motivation level is low right now, but I'm trying to make myself get it done. Hopefully by Monday I'll be mentally back and ready to run, but for the next couple days, I'll fust fake it.

Rhett...

I don't have any motivation right now, either, especially with a chest cold and a toothache. I'm still planning on a run in a little while. I need to get some food in my gullet. We just got back from taking my wife to the doctor. She has Strep Throat.

Great job on the intervals.

Dale,

I hope your wife gets feeling better soon, and I hope you don't get it from her. Good luck with that and stay healthy.

Rhett I am going to do a similar run Monday 10 x 400 meters @ 5k pace. I hope I can do it.

You are going to do so good at painters! What time are you shooting for again?

From Teena on Fri, Jan 02, 2009 at 18:38:20

How is your motivation today Rhett?? If I were ever to run a workout like that my motivation would be at an all-time high!! That's some good speed there!
