After all that carb loading yesterday, I decided to go for a long run today. It was such a beautiful day I even ran outside. I figured I'd do 20 easy miles on some serious rolling hills. I ran the first 10 at what felt easily sustainable for 20 miles and then figured I'd try and negative split it. First 10 were in 1:15:30. I figured I'd try and run the second half a minute faster to finish at 2:30. I did have to run the last 2 miles sub 7 but I ran the second half in 1:14:19.

Total run 2:29:49 AP 7:29

No foot pain and I even forgot to tape.

Rhett, 20 miles just like that you make it sound like everyone could just jump off the couch and run 20 miles...so cool!

WOW!!! Rhett! That's an AWESOME impromptu 20 miler with a strong finish...sub 7 and negative split on serious rolling hills! YOU ARE SUPERMAN!

Oh, and TRIPLE WAHOO for no foot pain and no taping! You're 100% back!!!! SO COOL!

Seriously Rhett -- could you be any more on top of your game??

A huge congrats on your 20 miler (at a killer pace) and on the healthy, happy foot!! :)

Great pace there Rhett. I could have stayed up with you for maybe 5 of those miles, if I'm lucky.
