Track Night

Jim, Jeff, and I ran together.  Jeff is training for PF Chang's Phoenix Marathon in Jan.  Jim and I are not training for anything specific, so we have decided to do whatever Jeff's plan calls for for the next couple months.  This is his debut marathon and he is trying to go sub 3.

2 mile warm up

6x 800m with 1/4 mile jog recovery:  3:02, 2:55, 2:56, 2:56, 2:56, 2:53

1 mile cool down

Those were the easiest 800m repeats I ever remember doing. We were talking the whole time even while doing the 800s. I felt like I could keep doing them all day at that pace. Even the last one which was faster was not all out.

HEY THERE!!! Have a great Thanksgiving today!

I did the 1 minute on/1 minute off workout this Tuesday and thought about you (and Doone, of course). I hope all is going well! That workout will forever be yours! One day I hope to be able to hit the 11 mph speed, or close. I started at 9 and I have now reached 10. Maybe in 3 more years I will be almost as fast as you. But i am really not sure I could ever run 11mph for a minute, not to mention 20 times!!!

HAVE A GREAT DAY!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING to you, Doone and your family! :)

Talking at 5:48 pace? NICE!
