1 mile barefoot in the grass with strides before a 40 minute lake swim.  My swim felt strong this morning and I went farther than I usually do in my 40 minutes.

I finally got myself out on a Wednesday night for a run.  I am always pretty tired by Wednesday night, but I put on my running clothes and got out the door for a 4.5 mile fartlek hill run.  I ran the hills (9, each 100+ meters) strong and took the rest of the run easy.

You are an Animal. What Sprint Tri are you training for...?

Thanks Smooth and HBR. I like mixing it up and I seem to get less injured and am able to train harder when I do.

Slick, I'm doing the Bucket List Sprint Tri here in Havasu on May 9th. It's small but they have a shorter what they call super sprint that my 10 year old (Cade) likes to do, so it will be fun to have him racing too.

That will be really neat to run this tri with Cade!!!
