10 on the the trails.  Very muggy.

I have decided I will not be running the Full Monte Marathon this Saturday.  Blake has to attend a funeral and I was mainly just running it to support him.  I went back and forth a few times over the weekend, but decided I would be better served not taking my week of taper and then a couple weeks of recovery with my goal race coming up in just 7 weeks.

I think you have made a wise choice, but I will miss meeting up with you and Blake!

Oh I was so looking forward to seeing you at Huntsville! But sounds like you're making a wise choice. Unlike me, I'm always making foolish choices and then pay for it later. Best of luck on your goal race, Javalina 100, is it?

That's a good decision, Rhett! I can't wait to see how you do at the Javelina Hundred(k)

From Rhett on Wed, Sep 13, 2017 at 19:46:03 from

Smooth and Slick it would have been fun seeing you guys, but I think I am doing the smart thing. The JavalinaJundred is coming quick and it will be my first time to run 62 miles at once. I definitely will need healthy, well trained legs.

Dale my legs are all good and healthy right now. I hope it stays that way.
