I'm trying to get a feel for Doone's mp so I can do my job of pacing her in for the last half of Pocatello.  If all else fails, I'll just look at my Garmin.  I sure hope I can keep that pace up for 13 miles with as little running as I've done lately.

What a sweet coach! No worries! I am sure you will be able to keep that pace for 13 miles with Doone! Can hardly wait to see you!

How's the leg feeling?

From timp on Tue, Aug 24, 2010 at 10:04:52 from 136.182.2.25

yeah - how did the leg feel after that?

From Rhett on Tue, Aug 24, 2010 at 12:18:52 from 74.32.211.152

My leg does not hurt a lick as long as I don't touch it. I talked to my BIL who is an athletic trainer (now for BYU, no longer at Univ. of Georgia). He says as long as it doesn't hurt while running that I can keep going as long as I am very careful not to push too hard.

Cool. That's great news!!!

From Smooth on Tue, Aug 24, 2010 at 14:22:46 from 174.23.203.161

You probably already know that...what your BIL said...and already proceed with caution!

An injured site will feel tender for quite some time. Depending on if there's soft tissue damage with the stress fracture; the nerve and scar tissues around the area can be sensitive to touch!
