It was sweet!

Break 3 hours again, but now as a masters runner. It's been 9 years since my last sub 3. I better do this soon as I'm not getting any younger.

Nothing right now.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep on running.

I decided to try out the Vibram FFs today at the gym on the TM. My plan was to run 4 miles at Doone's mp (8:35) at 2% incline. Near the end of the second mile one of the seams on my VFFs started rubbing my foot wrong, so I decided that was a sign to call it a day. I hopped on the stationary bike and road for 30 more minutes.

I won't run tomorrow and then Satruday I plan on meeting up with Doone for the end of her 22 miler. I'm just trying to decide how far I should run with her.

Maybe run about 50 yds with her. Let her know you care.

I think you are ready for three....you have done 1, you did 2 (and maybe could have done more had you had on shoes), so give three a try (or more). I bet Doone is so excited to have some company! Bring her a big ole popsicle.

Glad to hear all is feeling good.

You better be careful and not push yourself back into any great distance any too fast or your going to force yourself into a renewed injury! Just drive out there and keep her supplied with hydration...she will really love you for that!

I think you should run the last handful of miles with her while she eats the big ole Popsicle you bring! I like Kelli's idea!

I'm just excited for you two to run together again!!

I completely trust that this has been tough enough on you that you won't even be tempted to do anything stupid.

:) :) :)

(It's going to be so much fun for you both!!!)
