I decided to take another rest day in hopes not to agrivate my PF. My foot finally feels good again today. Thank goodness, cause I couldn't even walk earlier in the week. I feel like I want to get out and run, but I keep reminding myself that it won't make any difference at this point and it could hurt my foot.

SMART thinking and decision! Are you working or taking half day off? Are you all packed? Can you fit all your running gear and stuff in one carry on? My BIL is flying from HK to Boston as we speak. He's known to take a run if there's couple hours lay-over. CRAZY!

I'm working till 2 today. I still haven't started packing, but I intend to get it all in a carry on. Is you BIL running the marathon as well?

Have a safe and enjoyable trip, Rhett!!! I'm glad your PF is feeling better. I notice my feet problems always feel worse when I don't run very much. I can't wait to read all about your trip. My ultra marathon was supposed to be tomorrow. Well, at least I'll still be in southern Utah enjoying my dad's company and exploring. I'll be leaving tonight to head down there.

Rhett, I PM you my cell # and My hubby's. Hope you get it this time. It might be in your Spam folder. Your PM was in my Spam folder.

Yes, Gary, my BIL is running Boston. He had to bail out the last two years. So third time's a charm. He has run several sub-3, Chicago, New York, Sydney, ChristChurch New Zealand and Tokyo. He hasn't been able to train the last couple of months due to work. Hopefully you get to meet him tomorrow.

I received your PM. Thanks.

They sure are keeping me busy today at work. Don't they know I'm tapering and should be kicking back relaxing?

From Rhett on Fri, Apr 17, 2009 at 17:22:07 from 170.215.58.122

My flight leaves Vegas in 8 hrs 47 mins and 32 sec, but who's counting? I'll be leaving Havasu around 6:30.

Rhett!!! Way to go. Looks like you were on pace for your sub 3 after the first half, but it sounds like the wind was killer. Still, you're totally awesome!
