I decided to run 10 miles this afternoon. I ran the first 7 easy averaging around 7:50 then ran the last 3 at marathon pace averaging right around 6:50. My legs definitely still don't feel quite right. Good thing we still have 9 more days. I think I'll be ready by then. I've decided to keep next week really easy and will probably just run Mon, Wed and Fri. and nothing too hard. I'll probably do easy runs with some marathon pace strides mixed in.

Nice last long run. Thanks for posting what you're gonna do. I was wondering about that. I really need my legs to feel fresh by the 20th. Yep, we'll be sitting in Fenway a week from now. WooHoo!

Thanks Teena,

So how are you feeling? Last we heard you had strained something playing basketball with your kids?

I'm healing: slowly, but surely (at least I hope)! Could be tons worst!! :)

Happy Easter to you and your family!!

Man I think you are just feeling dead legged cause of the taper. No worries. Have a good warm-up on Marathon day and you will rock it.
