20 mile bike ride on a windy morning.

I was going to do an easy run this evening, but my calves felt tired so I decided to take the day off from running.

Smart move to give the calf a rest and to ease back in to running. Nice bike ride. Is your road bike a Tri-Bike?

Yes, I ride a tri bike. It's the only way to go. Once you get used to the aerobars they as so much more efficient and faster than without them.

Love that you're taking advantage of the good weather to swim and bike (even a ski trip in UT). Good on you! (as they say in Down Under).

Smart thinking to rest the calves. Do you do any rehab stuff for the calves? Do you know what's the nature of the calf issue?

Saying know is the best but the hardest thing to do for a runner. Great job holding back.

Smooth. We had a blast on our ski trip. As I've gotten older I've really learned to enjoy skiing. I have had my clafs looked at by a PT, but no one is exactly sure what's up. I've just incorporated a but of straight legged and bent legged calf raises hoping that will help me out. Thank you for your kind words about my race. It meant a lot to me. I hope to see you at UVM.
