Another beautiful day in paradise!  Nice 7 mile easy run this morning.  Legs felt great!

AP 7:52

My son wants to start training for the 5K that is run at the same time has the Havasu Half so I told him I'd go on a run with him when I got off from work today, so I'll get in a couple more slow miles this evening.

2 miles with Chase.  Nice and easy.  AP 9:31

I'm jealous! jk I'm so happy for you. Gotta love days like that. How fun that your little boy is running and training for the 5K and you get to run with him this evening...a priceless day indeed! I still treasure the memory of my son running with me at dusk on Dec 31 2008. He was visiting from Iowa. Next time I see him, he'll be a daddy with a little girl of his own.

So much fun to run with your son! How old is he again?

Awesome, Rhett!!! Are you running another 20 miler this weekend? My son always says he wants to run a race with me, but he never wants to train for one. I think if I take him to get some decent running shoes he might change his mind.

Smooth, I bet you can't wait for that grand baby to arrive. Congrats.

Kathie, he is 9 and is quite a good runner for his age.

Dale, I love running with him. We really bonded some last time he was training for a 5K. I think it made him feel special to have his own time with dad. Tomorrow night I'm taking him up to Vegas by himself to go the the MWC tournament.

You're going to the MWC tournament? I am really jealous. We went couple years ago. We got to watch basketball day and night for 2 days and I got to run on the strip in the morning when all the gamblers were asleep. The Utes and the Cougs are doing so well in the conference this year. Proud time to be a Utahn.

Special bonding time for you and your little boy, lucky fella!!!
