What a difference a day makes. I felt so good yesterday and just wanted to run fast.  Today my right soleus muscle felt a bit tight when I started running and it just seemed to get worse and worse. Finally at 4.5 miles I stopped my run short and road the stationary bike for 40 minutes. I'm not sure what I did to it, but hopefully it feels better tomorrow.

PM

1 hour on the bike trainer hard. I then treated my calf with my electromagnetic wrap. It is already stating to feel better. Hopefully I'll be able to run tomorrow.

Yeah, Slick. That's the thing. I've been building mileage slowly all summer. And have been hitting about 50 miles per week for a while now and even took a recovery week last week, so I'm not quite what happened. The good news is I'm training for a tri so I'll just do some extra biking and swimming until it feels better.
