My foot still feels good, but I'm having a hard time making my tape jobs last more than a couple days.  According to the packaging, each tape job should last five days.  I do think it is making a difference though.

Yeah Kristi's only lasted a day. Once it got wet it was off. Must be good for 5 days depending on where you wear it. Good job on the xtraining.

Mine lasted 3 days max and they were on my knee. I can't imagine it lasting that long on the feet. It helps to dry it thoroughly before putting on clothing (in your case, socks and shoes).

Nice Xtrain workout as always!

My tape jobs only last a day. I would tell you not to wear lotion, that will help, but I am guessing that you probably do not slather the stuff on like I do. i am so glad it is helping you----so glad!!!! I have read so much crap about this darn PF and MANY people claim the orthotics and specialized shoes are what is damaging our feet and making PF so prevalent. So, because I am cheap and do not want to pay for orthotics, I am going to believe that theory and keep going without them.

Okay, so the big question----does it kill like crazy to pull the tape off with hairy legs?????

Oh, I just thought of something---RAD says she warms the tape up with a heating pad right after applying it and it makes it stick longer. Maybe try that???

GOOD LUCK! If you need more, please let me pick it up for you and mail it to you, it will be much cheaper!

Glad the foot is doing better. Keep patient.

Kelli,

I shaved my leg up to how high the tape goes. I apply alchol before putting it on so that I won't have any oils on my legs. I may try the heating pad thing. Smooth's advice about making sure it is dry before I put on socks will probably also help. The local Big 5 here orders it for me and does not charge me shipping, so it is only $12.99, so when I start getting a little low I'll just have them order me some more. Thanks for the offer though.

I am so glad to hear that you are not ripping the hairs off of your leg. OUCH. But I do wish I could get the stuff to last longer than 2 days.

$12.99 is the cost here, so perfect! They charge too much on the website.

SWEET!!!

I haven't been on the blog much and so was so excited to see you running without pain!!! Yes!!!

Okay ... about the tape ... I ran into one of my PTs at Target just the other day. I told him the same thing ... my tape comes loose by the end of each run. He said there is a spray that he is going to order for me that makes it last MUCH MUCH longer. Have no idea what it will cost, I forgot to ask. But I will let you know when I get it!

Seriously ... GREAT NEWS in regards to your runs!!! Keep running smart. There is no rush!! (Remind me of that when SGM is over, okay?)

So happy for you!!!
