Today was supposed to be hill sprints day, but since I decided to make this a long slow week, I ran my hill sprints course without doing any sprints.  I just kept a nice steady pace both up and down the hills.  I felt really good today.

Very solid and strong. Nice pace, too.

Nice Rhett. Are you making up your training as you go or are you loosely following a plan?

Thanks Paul.

Kathie, I have not used an actual training plan for a few years now. I like to try out new things and just wing it. I do put pencil to paper about 12 weeks before a marathon and write down a basic overview of what I want to do. ie, speed work, marathon pace runs, hill work, tempo runs, and long runs. But I'm contantantly changing my mind as to what I actually do.

You can say you did Kelli Hill Sprint, because that pace up hills is sprinting for me!
