I had a break in my schedule so I snuck off to the gym for a TM 1 %  run.  My calves felt good finally.

2 miles at 7:30

4 miles at 6:30

2 miles at 7:30

Felt great to run fast again.  I'm going to start calling 6:30 my mp even though it's not.  By training at a 6:40 mp for Boston I think I really helped me PR there.  I figure it's mostly mental, so from now on MP is 6:30 for my training purposes.

Total run 8 miles,  56:00,  AP 7:00

Addidas Bostons Miles: 8.00

Just curious, do you plan on sticking with running only every other day?

Glad to hear the calves are feelin' good. Love your new MP, SO SUPER FAST!!!!

Did you and the kids clean up the house before Doone comes home? Have a happy weekend!

Hooray for you calves! After Boston, I too notched down...from 7:40 to 7:30. (If I could just take off a mere 1:00 per mile, I could be running with you :)

Jeff, I was thinking about adding more running days after Boston, but the more I think about it, the more I think I will stay at 3 days. I will stay at 3 days running through UVM at least. Heck, it worked for me, PRing with a 2:58:03. Why fix what's not broken? I'll just train faster and hope to improve my speed.

Smooth, I just got home from camping with the kids up in the Hualapai Mountains. I am now doing laundry and cleaning house. Doone said she saw you up there. Amazing with how many ladies go to women's conference.

Marc, yep. I figure the only way to run faster is to train faster... or run a bazillion miles every week. But my body can't handle that.
