I RAN TODAY!!!

After much contemplation on the best way to run with the least impact on my tibia, I decided to run on the big grass field at Rotary Park, barefoot.  I was excited when it was time to get up this morning.  I got dressed, minus shoes and socks and drove to the park.  I took off running at a very conservative pace and tried to concetrate on form and landing lightly.  First sign of any pain and I was going to stop.  I was able to do a full mile with no pain and decided not to press my luck.

1 mile 8:30

It was great to run again.  I think going barefoot was a good call.  Hopefully my leg will continue feeling good today and tomorrow and then I'll try another easy run on Wednesday.

BareFoot Miles: 1.00

Very happy for you. There are some people that I would advise to proceed with caution but you are not one of them because I know you will not push beyond what your body will tolerate.

Let the pain be your friend! Feel the pain and let it guide you to a safe return.

YIPPEE!!!SKIPPEE!!! You are awesome and I am so proud of you for taking care of yourself the last couple of months. Now the only question is how quickly it will take you to get faster than me? A week? two? I love you!
