No knee pain this morning.  After last nights attempted run, I've decided that Boston will definitely just be a fun, long slow run.  I'll start targeting UVM seriously starting next week.  That will give me 17 weeks.  If I'm injury free, that will be plenty of time.  In the mean time I'll just keep doing any cross training that is pain free.

Hmmm ... maybe I should target UVM instead of Ogden as well.

Nice idea there, Bish! :)

I thought I already posted this but I cant find it...anyway if you are just running Boston for fun you should pace Smooth and I to a 3:50 PR!

If you have not run with smooth before you are missing out!

Capt'n Bish ~ Glad there's no knee pain this morning. You're SMART and PATIENT like Teena! I, on the other hand, is one hard-headed-stubborn-fool.

Kathie ~ Ummm...I'm trying to get to Boston in one piece! It will be a slow long run for me too!!!:) I'm sure Rhett won't miss out on anything; especially the part on dragging me across the finish! :D

However, 3:50 is totally doable for YOU!!! You're gonna kill it! :)

I want to see Bishop Rhett kicking Smooth across the finish line. Literally. :)

Kathie, yes you did post it, but when I had to move my blog back from the future to the proper day, it got deleted. I think that may be a great idea. I'm sure Smooth would have no problem doing a nice slow 3:50. I just said to Doone the other night, that I might be there watching and cheering you all in if my knee doesn't start behaving soon.

Teena, UVM is the place to be and it gives you a few extra weeks.

Tim, I think it is just tendonitis, hopefully it will get better soon.

Burt, leave sweet Smooth alone! :)

Smooth, you could totally run a 3:50 if you decided to, but instead you choose to enjoy the journey and I admire that in you.
