Abs and core work

30 minutes elliptical

I guess that will be the last of the ab and core work until after Boston.  It's so weird doing such little exercise.  The crazy thing is I'm loosing weight doing it.  I stepped on the scale and read 155 this morning.  That's the lightest I've been since last year right before Boston.  I guess that's good as long as I'm feeling strong.

Nice job. Gotta love the weight loss. The day after St. George I mysteriously gained 5 lbs and then in the next month skyrocketed up another 10 lbs and I haven't been able to lose any of it yet.

I lost weight last year during taper too. That is actually a good sign, don't you think? Running at your lightest as long as you're feeling good. Plus, I'm sure the carb load and party will compensate for whatever is lost.

Can't wait to see you in a few days!

155 -- I haven't weighed that since 6th grade! I'm so jealous! You are so ready..and focused.

Hey, this might be a stupid question, but...is your wife's name pronounced "Dew One" or "Dune"?

Rhett, nice job on the weight loss. I have lost a little weight too. Only problem I have with that is now the Butt to fabric ratio on my favorite running skirt causes wedgies!

Hey Rhett, It's just about time for you to head off to the Boston Marathon....How are you feeling? How have the extra runs effected you? Do you feel like your peaking now or have you over trained.

My training for UVM is coming along pretty good. I seem to be getting stronger with every run. My knee problem seems to be totally in the past now. Now I just need to keep the trifecta of Mind, Body and Spirit on the road moving forward.

Good Luck at Boston, hope we see a sub 3 from you, like a 2:19:25......

Smooth, yep I figure the less I weigh the faster I should be able to run.

Marc, it is pronounced like Dune

Kathie, I'm not sure what to say about the wedgie issue. Good luck with that. :)

Tom, I'm feeling lean, fast, and strong. Hopefully I'm feeling great on race morning.
