I spent the whole morning with the scouts doing my son's eagle project. It is all completed. Now all 3 of my boys will be Eagle Scouts.
No time to get in a run.

Go Astros!

Congrats to your boys on becoming Eagle Scouts! I didn’t run either, took an overnight day trip with Kirstyn so I left the running shoes home.

Hey Rhett, So cool to see you still here. Your consistency is amazing. Congrats on helping your boys get their Eagle Scout!

Do you remember "Cougar" from the SGM Blog? Here is a pretty cool essay that he wrote that I recently came across. https://discoveringthewordofwisdom.com/wfpb-story-scott-zimmerman%E2%80%8E/

Mack. It’s great to hear from you. What are you up to? Thanks for sharing the article. It was nice reading about Cougar and seeing his pictures was great.

Glad you liked the article. Scott is a really great guy. Back in the SGM discussion board days I once met up with him in Provo and went for a trail run. He's really interesting and inspiring to talk to. Knows a LOT about a lot of different subjects.

I'm still pretty consistent in my exercise just not in posting here. I workout out at the gym 3 times a week...on the cardio machines and lifting weights. I also take walks around the neighborhood behind my office before and after work (I'm a dentist...so I need some way to blow off the stress!)

Take care and keep up the great work! It's always a joy to look here on the blog and see you still consistently putting in the work. You're the Cal Ripkin Jr of the Fast Running Blog.
